This follows our inaugural walk in March 2023. It takes in three churches, St Nicholas Arundel, St Leonard South Stoke, and St Mary the Virgin North Stoke. Starting out on Saturday 16 March at 10.30am from Arundel (coffee served beforehand at St Nicholas Church) we progress to South Stoke then continue to North Stoke which we expect to reach about 1.15pm. Light lunchtime refreshments will be served at St Mary North Stoke, or bring your own if you would rather. This year a slightly simplified route is planned through Arundel Park to avoid winter mud.
Two route options: the round trip to and from Arundel is 9.2 miles and the half-way trip to North Stoke is 4.2 miles. Limited car transport will be available to go back to Arundel, while rail transport is available from Amberley Station at the end of the North Stoke Road. Or your own arrangements. We’d love to see you, either again or for the first time. Please note your interest to Janet Aidin janet@aidin.co.uk (01798 872531). We hope to be joined this year by the Vicar of Arundel, Canon David Twinley, and the Bishop of Horsham, The Rt Revd Ruth Bushyager.
